Why the TMR dryer | EasyDrench ?

This new dry matter meter can dry two types of feed at the same time. This makes drying more efficient and saves you time.
The heat source for drying the feed is a normal hair dryer. The high airflow makes the drying of the feed faster.
The feed can be weighed together with the pot, which means no feed is wasted and the end result is reliable.
The dry matter meter is designed to determine the dry matter content quickly and accurately.
In addition to feed materials, the TMR dryer | EasyDrench can also be used to determine the dry matter content of separated and dried manure.

Why is determining dry matter content important?

Once a year, the dry matter content of your grass or corn silage is measured. On the silage result, you will find the average dry matter content. With long and/or high silages, the dry matter percentage can deviate per section. The percentage of dry matter per bale can also fluctuate with wrapped bales.
In wet silages, press juices are lost. This means that the dry matter percentage in the feed increases.
In addition, it is possible to determine the dry matter percentage of the total ration.
If the dry matter percentage of a feed deviates, this can lead to a suboptimal ration and ultimately to poorer performance of your livestock.
Example: Grass silage deviates 5% dry matter. For 100 dairy cows, with a 50% grass ration, the deviation is already 200 kg of grass product.
